Isle of Wight Camp
23rd - 30th July 2011

Preparations are now being put in place for camp 2011, where we expect to take a group of approx. 25 to the Isle of Wight Vectis Youth Camp Site for the week, address and website details are listed below.

The aim of the trip is to encourage girls to learn more about the Bible and how its relevant today in their daily lives and to learn how to build a stronger relationship with the Lord and make a commitment to serve him. The trip should also enable girls to take a sense of responsibility for themselves and those around them, working together with a team like spirit equipping them with essential life skills .

Cost of the Trip is £175. This includes, travel, site hire, food and activities such as Ice Skating, Headhunters/bowling, trip to Shanklin and Ryde as well as planned activities on site.

Please ensure payments are given to Mrs Benjamin with cheques being made payable to
1st Orpington Girls Brigade. Payments will be required by the following dates:

16th December 2010 Deposit £40 (non refundable)
15th February 2011 2nd installment £40
5th April 2011 3rd installment £40
24th May final payment £55

Camp 2010

DOWNTON CAMP 2010

Please bring all luggage to the church Friday 30th July 7pm prompt.

Downtown Camp will commence with meeting at Orpington Station (Crofton, car park side) 9.00am Saturday 31st July 2010.

We should arrive at Salisbury 11.42am.

Let us come and renew our faith together with energy, love, faith and worship as we come closer to God.
